Intro As long-time readers of this blog may bear in mind, in early 2007 I began a “Chase For The Perfect Strat,” with the solitary intention of digging up the best colloid of playability, affordability, looks, and air that Fender had to offer in the way of vintage-variety Stratocasters.

Having had a life-extended love affair with the performers’s simple but versatile Tele––and other managing to go some 20+ years without period owning a Strat––I unmistakable early on that I would leap the many worthy clones on the hawk, and keep my efforts trained on the corporeal deal: the Fender Stratocaster.
