Q: I have had this trumpet for approx. 35 years and haven't played it in over 20 years. I got it out last night and it plays and feels new. What would it be worth?
This is a silver trumpet and I was told that they are rare.. Is this true?
A: I don't know the answer, but I can tell you to take it to a music instrument repair shop (you can get referals from music instrument stores). There is a blue book for musical instrument values and most repair shops have it.
What year was it made in? and any information about it in general would be nice.

It fits in an old 8 track cassette box (I think 9" by 18" by 5") which is way smaller than the trumpet. The article states a cornet is much better than a pocket, and good for travel as it is not much larger than a pocket....

The serial number of my F.E Olds Ambassador trumpet is 105175. It doesn't have any dents, just a bunch of scratches. It's brass too. How much do you think it is worth?
