Q: Has anyone had one and are they really good and have a nice sound and last a while????
A: As far as I know, this instrument is made in India. So far, I have not seen any quality brass instruments come out of that country. Also beware of instruments made in China. They are of extremely poor quality.

Listening again a month later, it is odd that a song only heard once fleetingly has such a remarkably memorable pattern to it. I know it's one of the most difficult instruments to play and that if you don't get a good brand of it, you'll probably never learn to play it right. So I want to know what are some reliable and good brands for a piccolo trumpet? Is Tristar a good brand?
I'm wanting to buy a cornet and need to know if this brand is durable and of good tone quality. Any help?
