How can I trade my Yamaha trumpet for a Bach trumpet?
[2009-09-29 18:51:30]

Q: I have a B flat Yamaha trumpet, and honestly, it sucks. My band director suggested I get a Bach trumpet instead. I have a big competition coming up, and I can't use my Yamaha anymore! Any suggestions on how to trade it quickly and easily?

A: The fastest way would definitely be trying to trade it in at your music store. If it's a professional Yamaha (mark II or xeno) this wont be too hard, student level trumpets and most intermediate will trade in for little to nothing because they already

What is the smallest size for a yamaha trumpet mouthpiece?
[2007-06-18 18:19:09]
Yamaha Xeno

I am looking for a yamaha trumpet mouthpiece. I have used bach for a long time, and now i want to switch but I don't know what the smaller cup numbers are. If you know the sizes for the gold or sterling silver plated ones that would be awesome!

Why would you choose yamaha over bach? If you're going to use anything other than bach I would recommend Schilke 6A4a. It gives you great tone and really helps the upper range.

I love mine, and I only used Bach 1 1/2C and 3C before.
