Q: I still haven't had any of the boss pedals. I wanna know between these three I heard theyre very good:
Metal zone
Metal core
Ds-1
I kinda play alot of solos and some rhythms. Im not a metal dude but I saw alot
I got that pedal and the batteries last at most an hour. Maybe way less. And I don't think it's supposed to work that way... I always turn it off and the amp too.

The DS-1 has a really great tone to it, I use my DS-1 with a Marshall Head (MG100 HDFX) and I really think it contrast’s the tone from my amp distortion to the pedals distortions. If your looking for that extra little boost in distortion, because your amp’s distortion is just not cutting it, then look no further then the Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal....
