Boss Ds-1
Q: I just purchased the pedal yesterday. I didn't get an adapter for it, though I'm planning on getting one eventually. If I use the pedal for 1-2 hours in a day on a daily basis, how long will the battery in it last?
A: all my boss pedals used to last about 5-8 hours but you should get an adapter and a chord that can split up between pedals so you wont have to worry about having a battery all the time. good luck and have fun with it.
how can i get that lamb of god sound with my boss ds-1 . can you please help me . coz we're going to join a battle of the bands in a few weeks . so please help me . thanks .
The DS-1 has a really great tone to it, I use my DS-1 with a Marshall Head (MG100 HDFX) and I really think it contrast’s the tone from my amp distortion to the pedals distortions. If your looking for that extra little boost in distortion, because your amp’s distortion is just not cutting it, then look no further then the Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal....
The Boss DS-1 works best when you run it in conjunction with a great amplifier and a good compressor unit like the MXR. i wanted to do the best with what i have here, a Cort X-6 and a Boss DS-1. (when i gig i borrow the amp, my amp sux bigtime). how to get a long sustain, big gain, and not too sharp tone but not muddying the low freqs? @ home i use peavey rage 158. usually
