Fender BG31 Acoustic-Electric Bass

The Fender BG31 Acoustic bass is a fanstastic apportion. Acoustic basses are becoming an elementary part of many different lyrical styles, and the Fender BG31 is a great summation to any bass rig.
Review:
Feature:
Supply did not include accessories at all, I had to purchase the whole else separately. (polish, the actuality, cords, battery) Also, it came strung with gloomy gague round wounds, which are genuinely abysmal and transmit all kinds of stipulations noise. I changed them to go down gague nylon flat wounds, and the undertaking improved greatly. I also hunger I had gotten one with the cutaway. The proportional body is pretty, but I do a fair bit of soloing, and prepare had to re-finger a number of songs because I couldn’t reach the loftier 8 frets. AND I had to add my own upper! strap button.
Distinction:
So far, I have been pleased with the grandeur of the instrument. The battery runs down lickety-split (I have to unplug between sets, and a battery almost never lasts more than one gig). The solely cosmetic issue I have is that it looks like the fore-part was drilled for a 6-string then filled and re-drilled for a 4.
Value:
This is my 4th bass, and my favorite. I also entertain a Hondo II, a Yamaha long-progression and a Guild fretless. I also got a gambler deal on it than on the others.
Report:
I bought this to use in acoustical, un-amped settings, and the tone and balance (with my wife’s guitar) are finish. Solid low-end with enough indication to not sound mushy. When I amp I cause trouble through a 1969 Ampeg v2 (eat your spunk out
) and it still sounds great. Amped it is completely touchy, and the Fishman picks up all, even my sloppy changes and thupms on the association.
