Q: i have a dean electric guitar and im wondering if i can plug it in a bass amp. i would be using effects tho in between. so would it damage the amp?

There are plenty of bassists who use distortion and/or very bright punchy tones, and the dynamic range from a bass neck-pickup is generally much larger than a guitar's, so bass speakers normally have to be very resilient and reproduce
i found a dean electric guitar for really cheap.and im a beginner and really dont care what i have.but i just want to make sure its not totally crappy.
