A: Cool, your a metal head. You should get an ibanez. the RG is a great guitar that comes in various configurations. there are cheap and expensive ones. my first guitar was an ibanez and i still use them. don't get a Fender or Gibson because they cost too

i just purchaced a guitar kit, very nice its made by Orange from England. Anyway i have been trying to learn chords from a book, and i would like any helpful tips on progression, i really want to get good
Im getting a guitar soon. I have been playing the piano for 7 years. I know all of the basics, clef, chords, scales, argergios etc. Is the Yamaha guitar a good one to buy? Also, what do I need to start playing?

Get an amp with distortion switch, if not buy a pedal so you can switch from clean to heavy. Also, buy an assortment of picks so that you can choose which thickness is most comfortable. A yamaha is a good enough guitar to start with.
