Q: I am not looking for the $30 strings that will last threw my grandchildren, I am looking for some that will get me by for a few months and preferably ranging from 5-13 dollars. Any ideas?
Sites, brands, stores ect.

The heavier bass strings need this longer scale to make the instrument play in tune (it’s called intonation). Furthermore, even if you use really heavy gauge strings – which you will need in order to have those lower notes sound right – you will not have the guitar play in tune. About Me: Coming from the suburbs of the Windy City, you'll often find me with my foot in my mouth while laughing for no reason or telling bad knock knock jokes.
