Q: Are they good? I'm using an acoustic and need a new string because one of the strings broke.
I've found Ernie Ball Earthwood Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings and Light strings too. But I don't know which to buy?

I have an acoustic guitar and I am wondering what acoustic guitar strings from Ernie Ball are the best for my guitar. I like to play 80s and 70s rock, alternative, and lynyrd skynyrd. If you need specifications on the guitar, it is a Yamaha F-315A acoustic.
You take the top 3 from the Extra Slinky and bottom 3 from the Hybrid Slinky and poof. I use these with the Hybrid Slinky strings.
I’ve had these for a integrate of months as well as used them for all from unchanging E/drop D, as well as down to dump A (where it is now) to fool around with a friend’s 7-string. While about as tough to fool around in E as we would suppose since a thickness, tinge was clever as well as smooth. i usually operate ernie round as well as will not operate anything else....
I’m not sure if I got a bad string or if my tuner was wrong and I pulled it too tight, but I know for sure I’m ordering another set to replaced these ones, and this time I’ll have to be a little more careful. I played them on a friend’s guitar, and they sounded and felt amazing, I just had to get them for my own guitar. And usually best upgrade I try is to swap out whatever strings are on the instrument for a set of Ernie Balls. You may need to have the nut worked on to get the low E to fit....

Alright so I've been meaning to changed that gauge of my strings for a while but never got around to it but seeing that I tuned back to standard tuning from drop C the E string (thinnest) snapped, I'm going to guitar center to get new strings....
