Try angling your forearm at more a parallel angle to the neck that you might be used to. Remember also to point the thumb towards the headstock. Now I moved my thumb towards the headstock and suddenly my wrist is straight O. o I still find it hard to play stuff like octaves on the lower frets without wrist bending, though.
I have seen the black ones but forget which company they were from and was told that they make red ones too.
What is the better choice? I want clear highs and solid sounding lows without all of the string noise, fret noise and finger pain. I'm a heavy handed player that also likes to pop and pluck. Is there a flat wound that gives me the best of both worlds?
