Q: This is for a Guild Acoustic with an electric pick-up. I don't know much else about the model of the guitar other than that it was very expensive with it was first purchased. I should also note that I am not a beginner so I will need .. quality.
A: Willy's answer is on target, but for your acoustic-electric I would recommend DR Zebra mediums, ZAE-12. Those strings seem to last a lifetime and are always brilliant when played. I've also installed them on my electric Gretsch and they play superbly.
