Q: I have an Ibanez GA6 classical guitar with nylon strings. I'm looking for a brighter, more "acoustic," steel string sort of sound. I have some generic brand silk and steel strings on order, but have also heard about some John Pearse strings
A: I have actually played with this in the past, just trying to get some strange sounds... and it was always a failure because the material used in the TOP of a guitar is different for a Nylon string classical as opposed to a steel string acoustic.
