A: Sometimes you can tell from the sound but; if it is difficult to keep them tuned they have stretched; if they begin to sound kind of "dead" change them. As a rule of thumb change them monthly and they should stay lively
Normal Tension vs. High Tension... which do you prefer, and why? Which do you feel are better?

i use yamaha c40 classical guitar (dont laugh! :p) and LaBella classical series strings 2001 (i lost its package so i dont remember the name very well) normally i change the strings completely twice a year, becoz in 6 months i feel they r oxidized and
