Q: Okay so two years ago i inherited my grandfathers guitar(R.I.P) and so I instantly recognized it to be the ever acclaimed Gibson Hummingbird, but through more thorough examination, it seems to be made by a company named "Capri", now i have researched
A: I believe the Capri brand was made in the 60s and 70s in Japan by the Guyatone company. They also had their own Guyatone brand and made guitars for Hondo, Ibanez, Silvertone, Suzuki and others.
From what I recall, they were very well made
