How do I remove the fret bars from my bass guitar neck?

So I want a Fretless bass neck. I have a bass guitar with fret bars on the neck. How could I take them out? I have played a fretless bar bass guitar and I like the feel.

So shipping the guitar in its case alone as is usually allows easy inspection and when the shipping people see a guitar case, they treat it with more respect (I hope so. ). I agree with your statements. So he shipped the guitar in its case as is. Plus the Vietnam and USA customs inspector wants to see inside (to check for drug, or any illegal product inside the case). I have always had a good relationship with Luthiers before and I want to keep it that way....

Bleurgh.. Headstock breaks all round! This time its an ancient break from 2006. Tough job!

I'd like to build my own bass guitar. I'vve seen kits online, but I'm not sure on the quality. Also, the only bass kit I saw was the Fender Precision-style kit.

So, are the kits worth it? Are there any other bass kits besides precision-bass
