The most significant alteration Ben will make to the violin parts before reassembling them with a new bass bar, neck and fingerboard is the regraduation of the plates. I'd like to build my own bass guitar. I'vve seen kits online, but I'm not sure on the quality. Also, the only bass kit I saw was the Fender Precision-style kit.
