Q: I can buy a Fender Strat that says "Custom Shop" on the headstock but it doesn't say "USA". It doesn't say Japan or Mexico either. I am wondering if all Custom Shop guitars are made in the USA. The price for the guitar is $300 and
A: All custom shop Fenders are made in the US. That said, something tells me there's a big, red flag here. You *may* have gotten lucky and can get yourself a bargain of a life-time. Or, you may fall for one of the many forgeries with more expensive guitars

I didn’t get much more in trade-in value than I would have selling it on eBay, but selling it would have likely taken a lot longer. Selling wind instruments on eBay is difficult without taking a HUGE loss in price, so I decided to trade the sax in on another instrument. I couldn’t find the bass I wanted at either Guitar Center or on eBay, even though I tried a lot of basses at GC and asked many questions of eBay merchants. Only a few voices – less than 10, no drum machine, 76 semi-weighted keys, stereo speakers, very slight electrical hum noise in the main octave my left hand uses – not bad enough to deal with repacking and shipping back and so forth, so I kept it....
I know that Epiphones are "set-up" in the USA, but I am wondering about where the wood was crafted and ect., other than the set-up of the guitar. I have an Epi Les Paul Standard and its crafted overseas somewhere. Thanks to all who ty to help
I read an online article that indicated that some Gibson electric guitars are actually made, largely, in Chinese factories before tey are "finished off" here in the U.S. Is this true? I grew up believing Gibsons were made in the USA!
