Whereas Book 1 was a history of the company, Book 2 is the perfect follow up by describing Martin products in fantastic detail, often cross referencing to Book 1. I bought 2 Martin books which is book 1 and book 2 in black and red hardcover. These two books control a huge information with history of Martin guitar where details of some rare models are illustrated. You won’t regret buying this book, whether or not you own book 1. They such a excellent reference books either you are or are not Martin fan should have on your shelf....
