A: If I may add something here, alcohol will leave a residue, so I personally would not use that. Any hardware store, Loews or Home Depot sells an electric motor contact cleaner. It will do the same job, but leaves no residue. I hope this helps.

Can I hook up an electric piano to Garage Band?

Right now I have a DGX-505 yamaha electric piano. It's a nice one nice and big, not a grand though. I just really want to be able to hook up my laptop to the piano to record piano tracks into it on garage band.

My YPG-635 has a USB port, and all I do is thread a USB cable across. Of course, there'll be some drivers you have to install (look at Google for that). If your keyboard doesn't have USB out, look for MIDI out, and if not that, then you may be out of

I just found one and I only want to know how much it's worth.

I'm no authority on pricing instruments but having just bought a cp-20 last weekend, I was wondering the same thing. They are the least desirable in the Yamaha CP series. They seem to range from $200-400 dollars depending on the condition. Replacement
