should I buy real piano or a nice keyboard?

Q: I've been playing piano for 4 years now like really gotten into it and love it but i've been playing some little things my whole life. Anyways I fixed up a old keyboard we had in our basement and It shuts off by itself sometimes so i've been saving up

A: With a budget of bellow $5,000 you're better off getting an electronic keyboard. If you buy an acoustic for bellow $5,000 it will have a problem whether it can't be tuned to pitch, or keys will stick, too loud, too soft, bad soundboard, buying an acoustic

i have an upright Kawai and would like to start recording but all the equipment i saw was like 1000 dollars for each mic and they say you should use a few. i also have a Yamaha keyboard that i can plug into my laptop and record. would that sound as good

Miking (Mike-ing) up a piano is a hard thing to do and yes you do need more than one mic, but that doesn't mean they have to be expensive. In a studio yes, at home, no.

Me and my friend are trying to record are own beat on it and save it on the piano, but we don't know how. We can record one beat but we can not play two of are personal beats together.

I'm looking to get my first keyboard and I'm mainly looking at these 2 options right now. I've only been playing for around 2 months so I don't need a lot of things, just something to use as a "piano" and maybe toy around with the synth stuff,


Roland is my choice.
I suggest to to get the Roland somehow.
It has the best audio output quality.
