Keyboard Stand
I just bought a new 61 key keyboard, with a changeable stand,
mounted just above my waist, wondering what is a preferred height and distance between the player and a pianist?

The rubber "grips" on the stand are adjustable to the width of the keyboard resting on it. Initially, it appears that the stand is too wide and the Privia would be resting on the metal bars which would cause the keyboard to be unsecure and slide. The stand is sturdy enough for home use although I can see if you really bang the keys hard on your keyboard it can cause the stand to wobble a bit.

I also noticed that it is designed so that, when seated, your knees hit the stand legs, making it almost impossible to use (should you ever get all the parts). I thought I’d be luckier than most of the previous reviewers, but no. when my Deluxe Keyboard Stand was delivered, it was missing eight screws and eight grippers, thus making it impossible to assemble. After that, Amazon told me they wouldn’t send me another and they were discontinuing it because of problems with the boxes coming open in the mail and screws being missing. The first one of these stands came without screws. I suggest Amazon stop selling this Casio stand, as all the necessary parts often are not included. That confused me at first, they put the screws in the holes so you have to unscrew them first instead of in a seperate bag....
i will appreciate any ideas how to use iMac on a stage, because i don't wanna buy a macbook just for that purpose. is that possible? any experiences?
