Upright Piano
Q: I've been taking lessons and my teacher suggested that I should buy a piano since I'm gonna really need it later on. What brand of upright piano is best and affordable? What model?
A: If you can afford it I would get a yamaha. But they can be pricey. Not sure if its still true but it used to be the black ones from japan were the good ones and the brown ones american made not so good (thats how it was 20 years ago anyways)
I have small kids with access to an upright piano with a fallboard that does not have the slow fall feature. Is there an easy way to prevent the fallboard from falling on their fingers while they're playing the piano?

you can try before you buy so viewing is deffinantly recomended and if you do chose to but it make sure you bring people with you as it is exremely heavy. recently tuned a few years ago, belonged to my nan who sadly passed away and we are now looking to send it to a good home where people we use it because at the minute it currently just gathering dust which is sad to see really.
