Q: I have a Roland electric Piano which I love but I have always wanted a proper upright piano. Anyways, I have finally saved up enough and bought a second hand piano, it's all in one piece and sounds great, but it just looks kind of old, Victorian and creepy.
A: Use an oil based lacquer paint after giving the original finish a light sanding. Gloss black would be in style. After your first coat dries, 24-48 hrs, give it another very light sanding with a finer grit paper, wipe down with damp rag and paint again.

Assuming you know what they are, which of these two vintage electric pianos do you prefer the sound of?
I don't mean digital pianos of course, I mean the classic electric ones like the Wurlitzer or the Yamaha CP70 (it's bad enough that most people can't tell the difference). The vintage ones are bloody hard to get - rarely I can see one or two Rhodes pianos
