Behringer speakers
Q: I just got a microphone, m-audio speakers, and the behringer thing for my birthday and am very confused on how to connect them all together.

With XLR outputs you would use XLR mic cables to connect the mixer to the speakers – it is better because you have less chance of picking up noise and the cables can be as long as you need. The RCA ends connect to the mixer main outputs and the 1/4 inch ends go to each speaker. With the unbalanced RCA to 1/4 inch cables, you need to keep them pretty short or you pick up noise on them. It has balanced XLR outputs which are much better than the RCA outputs on the DJX700. I personally wold get the Behringer VMX1000 instead of the DJX700.
