Q: I dont have money right now to buy some monitors, but I have some small monitors for guitar and bass.
Some places we go to play with my band don't have monitors, so we need to know if we can use the small amps as monitors..?

With XLR outputs you would use XLR mic cables to connect the mixer to the speakers – it is better because you have less chance of picking up noise and the cables can be as long as you need. The RCA ends connect to the mixer main outputs and the 1/4 inch ends go to each speaker. Joe – Yes you can use powered speakers with that mixer. It has balanced XLR outputs which are much better than the RCA outputs on the DJX700. With the unbalanced RCA to 1/4 inch cables, you need to keep them pretty short or you pick up noise on them.

i am thinking about getting a BEHRINGER DJX700 mixer and some powered speakers (powered or not i dont know which would be best) whats the most common connection from powered speaker and how can i connect it to the mixer
