Questions about Presonus Audiobox, Win7 64-bit, USB 1.1/2.0 and ...

I've had major difficulties with a Presonus firewire product in the past, but I was using XP Media Center and a firewire/USB combo port, so it was my fault for not doing the research beforehand. The fact that the Audiobox is USB-powered is a huge selling point to me, because I don't really want to buy a firewire card and take a chance that it won't work (the stock card in my desktop is another one of those combo deals)....

Presonus audiobox recording level problem - Guitar to USB.com

And the weirdest thing is that when put a mic to the same instrument 1 input and record vocal, the signal level is fine. When I record guitar, I put logic track level and master to -6 and I use guitar pro learn function to prevent clipping. Everything is fine and level is ok but when I press record, the signal goes to red.
