The fact that the Audiobox is USB-powered is a huge selling point to me, because I don't really want to buy a firewire card and take a chance that it won't work (the stock card in my desktop is another one of those combo deals). I've had major difficulties with a Presonus firewire product in the past, but I was using XP Media Center and a firewire/USB combo port, so it was my fault for not doing the research beforehand....

But you can use the EZ Drummer and Guitar Rig LE that came with it, and that should install right from the CD with Studio One on it. To use the plugin, you insert a new track, add Guitar Rig LE as an effect and it will come up, set up your sound... The Solo is mine, recorded using Guitar Rig 3 LE, the riff is aa loop from Studio One, and the drum loop is from EZDrummer Lite.

What is the difference between usb 1.1 and usb 2.0?

I want to record music with the "Audiobox USB" just because its more abordable than the "Firebox".
And it says compatable with usb 1.1 or 2.0 and im just curious what the difference is?!
And how do you know wich one you

as already said, the difference is the speed.
USB 1.1 is 12Mbit/s
USB 2.0 is 480Mbit/s

for recording music it doesn't matter which of both you have. recording music don't need more than 1.4Mbit/s (mp3 only needs 192Kbit/s).
