Audiobox
The fact that the Audiobox is USB-powered is a huge selling point to me, because I don't really want to buy a firewire card and take a chance that it won't work (the stock card in my desktop is another one of those combo deals). I'm recording by myself and after reading Brandon's book and doing internet research, I think the Presonus Audiobox is probably the best for me. It has 2 inputs (both Hi-Z), MIDI I/O, built in mic pres, bundled software, windows 7 compatability,......
Mini MP3 Speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery, It can be charged with the USB cable provided through any laptop or desktop computer with a USB port. Mini design with a strap hole (strap not included) makes it easy to carry around.
