Presonus firepod
Q: I have presonus firepod that has the old firewire input (which is larger) and the new mac has the new firewire input (which is smaller)
is there a wire that i could but that on one end fits into the old firewire input and another fits into
i have ableton live 8 and propellerhead's reason. everytime i try to use the firepod as an audio device, both ableton and reason tell me they cannot use it. oh and im using windows xp.
I have indeed installed the latest audio driver from presonus.

So ive been using the firepod for awhile now on my old computer that ran XP. and recently ive gotten a new computer with windows 7, and when i ran the software to get the fp10 working it, says it installed correctly, but the fp10 on wont sync with...
It was a good interface for presonus firepod the time,but computer power was the issue. The unit was easy to use, and firepod drivers were - initially - easy to install. Somehow the mic pres presonus firepod sound warm yet transparent. I should have bought presonus firepod something with a solid reputation. I rate this as unusable firepod due to the audio quality issues....
