whats the diffrence between a BETA driver and a regular driver?

While I haven't used the Firestudio I have used the Presonus Audiobox USB so I'll just give you my opinion on construction and features. When I did use Studio One it was very easy to navigate and control and has numerous loop and post recording effects. First off the housing is very well built with it's metal housing and all knobs, dials, and inputs are solid and dependable....
i spend close to $1,000 for a home recording studio i set everything up today- logic express, presonus firestudio mobile audio interface, speakers, synths, guitar, everything. when i try to record on logic, the sound doesnt show up and nothing records.
