Presonus firestudio project
Presonus only has the 32-bit vista drivers for the Firestudio Project. My suggestion would be for you to do a dual-boot system with XP and Vista so that you can use xp for all your recording and Vista then i went to the presonus site and got the driver and it installed BUT, it says the driver isn't digitally signed....
The FireStudio Project is a complete 24-bit/96K professional recording system combining eight Class A XMAX microphone preamplifiers, 24-bit/96k sample rate conversion, zero-latency matrix router mixer, and the PreSonus ProPak Software Suite... would I just run mics through the mixer to a specific group and then run the whole group into a single input in the firestudio (at a loss of quality i would guess). If you think why do I have problems, it is most likely you haven’t done your homework....
INFO: Acer Extensa 5620 laptop -Running WinXP32bit Pro -updated BIOS -3gb ram -320gb 7200rpm hdd Using the Firewire out on the Project to the onboard 4-pin Firewire connection on the Extensa laptop. If I turn on and off the Project, it will be usable every now and then, but I'm just worried overall for the future of this unit. I need help with a major issue with my Presonus Firestudio Project recording interface.
