A: I'm almost 100% sure you could. I've been planing on buying logic to use with my Firestudio 2626. All you should have to do is change your input device in Logic to Presonus instead of the built in setting. oh and make sure your firestudio is installed
I've heard this mic needs a lot of juice and idk if my preamp can provide it. IF NOT PLEASE RECOMMEND ME SOMETHING THAT WILL. How about the M-audio profire 2626??

What Is It. The Firestudio is an audio interface with 8 analog ins (with preamps), 8 analog outs, up to 16 total channels of ADAT ins and outs, and S/PDIF. (The amount of time needed to activate the numerous amounts of plugin and software I review became staggering so I decided to take a gamble and plug the thing into the web. First off, I want to point out that this is only my personal experience with one single Presonus Firestudio. I suspect my experiences may have been different if they would have grabbed a different one from the shelf....
I use it with my Mac G5 and have had tremendous success in making this work extremely well with the supplied software (Studio One) although you do have to have some technical aptitude to use it because it’s really not as easy as Garage Band…... If your considering, dont wait, BUY IT now, i am using it now and it went above and beyond what i was expecting (even after goofing around with it at my friends, with my drum mics that add up to about maybe 400 dollars alltogether i can record... I wrote a comment on another review to try and help another Windows 7 user, but I’ve had a great experience with the firestudio project and wanted to ensure the right information was in the forefront. I just preferred to have the use of all the extra’s given (Guitar Rig, Kore,…) and the automated mixing, saving of various set-ups, on and on… regardless of software....
