How do you replace a dead internal battery in a Roland guitar synth?

Will a Roland GK-2 pickup work with the newer Roland GR-20 Guitar synth?

I recently purchased an older roland-ready stratocaster with the older pickup system installed but I'm interested in the newer synth. The Roland website says that the gk-2 works with other compadible 13 pin devices but does not list the GR-20 as one

I've been wanting the Roland AX-synth but I need to know if you can just like plug it in and turn it on and play. If not then can someone explain all the MIDI stuff to me? Thanks.


Yes, the AX-Synth has its own sounds, so you can plug directly into an amp and play. However, most keytars are primarily used as MIDI controllers, so it's a good idea to know how to use it that way.
